the ideal person has:

• a deep love of food

• a real eye for detail 

• motivation and self-discipline

• ability to accept feedback and adapt accordingly

• interest in the larger food system, sustainable agriculture and a passion for the quotidien aspects of farming 

• will thrive in a predominately female and non-binary led crew.

• an eagerness and excitement to learn

• can spend much time bent over or kneeling and be on one’s feet for the majority of the work day

• reverence for the outdoors and tolerance for working out in the elements (sun, heat, humidity, wind, rain, cold)

• a positive and buoyant attitude, good communication skills

• problem solving skills and an aptitude for thinking on one’s toes 

• the ability to laugh at oneself 

• seriousness and geekiness about working efficiently & steadfastly 

• willingness to work hard and pick up the pace, even when tired, hot, or hangry

• treats others with dignity, respect and kindness

• tolerance for NPR, KUTX and Laurie Gallardo

• is fully vaxxed
